Anchor Bolt Re-Engineering & Re-Grouting
Project: Anchor Bolt Re-Engineering & Re-Grouting of MP 1000 Crusher.
Problem: Dynamic loads generated during crushing were not being restrained by the current anchor bolt solution resulting in excessive movement of the crusher frame. This lead to premature wear & breakages to various components within the crusher, cracking to the crusher frame & cracking of the concrete foundation.
Solution: Finite modelling of the crusher & structure allowed the replacement anchor bolt system to be designed which provided sufficient clamping force to resist the dynamic forces imposed during operation. The results of the modeling also allowed testing of the proposed foundation repair system & associated grouting products. Finally our field service crew including containerised workshop were dispatched to our clients international site to execute the project.
