Replacement Kobe Crusher
Project: Remove & replace existing Allis Chalmers crusher including design, fabrication & installation of replacement discharge throat liner.
Problem: Planning for future expansion had highlighted potential reliability issues with the existing primary crusher. In addition even at current production levels the client was experiencing premature wear of the existing discharge throat liners.
Solution: Our client sourced a replacement crusher from Kobe Japan and subsequently awarded ESI Alphatec a contract to remove the existing crusher, design, and fabricated replacement discharge throat liner system and install both the new liner & crusher. Our field service crew including containerised workshops were dispatched to our client’s site to execute the project during a 28 day shutdown.
